A clear exit level if the trade goes against you, set before you enter.
Analysis
The chart setup (support and resistance, momentum, volume) and any catalyst such as earnings or sector rotation.
Management
Updates on moving stops, taking partial profits or exiting early if conditions change.

How stock alerts work

  1. Analysis

Analysts screen for chart patterns, volume and momentum, and review catalysts.

  2. You receive the alert

A push notification with the entry zone, targets, stop-loss and the reasoning.

  3. You place the trade

Use your own broker with a limit order. Set the stop-loss straight away and size the position to your risk.

  4. Manage and exit

Manage the trade against the targets and the stop-loss in the alert. If a stock gaps above the entry zone, do not chase it.

Two ways every signal can end

Entry, target and stop on every alert, with the target and the stop given equal weight.

Stocks can fall as well as rise

You can lose money on any stock trade, and a stop-loss does not guarantee an exit at that price if the stock gaps. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Nothing here is financial advice.

Stock signals questions

How much capital do I need?

There is no fixed minimum. Size each position so a loss at the stop-loss is a small share of your account, and remember that smaller accounts can only hold a few positions at once.

Do I need pattern day trader status?

Only if you day trade in a margin account. Swing trades held overnight are not day trades. Check the rules with your broker.

Which brokers work?

Any US stock broker. You receive the ticker, entry and exit levels and place the trade yourself.

How quickly must I act?

Day trades need quick execution. Swing trades usually give more time. The alert shows the details you need.

What if the stock gaps above the entry zone?

Do not chase it. Wait for a pullback or skip the trade.

What about earnings?

Earnings can cause large gaps. Be aware of the date for any open position and consider reducing size or exiting before it.

Can I use signals in a retirement account?

Swing trades may suit retirement accounts because they avoid day-trading restrictions, but check what your custodian allows.

Do you guarantee profits?

No. Across our record, 72.5% of 1,259 closed signals won, so some did not.
